Deborah Jones combines her receptive sensitivity as an Animal Intuitive with her heightened visual awareness to capture transcendent moments of the deepest expressions of true spirit.
"My eyes and heart search to ignite and reflect the moments of Grace found in light and shadow."
Graduating form the University of Minnesota 1984, with a Batchelor of Studio Arts, Deborah went on to take more Studio Arts classes at UCLA, and participated in Julia Dean Photo Workshops, in Venice, California. Her work has been held in private collections throughout the States and abroad.
Deborah's silent life in childhood was a spiritual search for Union. The culmination of deep desire for realization, studying comparative religions and metaphysical writings, practicing many forms of dance, and giving endless volunteer hours to Poetry Reading groups at Stillwater State Penitentiary, along with rehabilitating injured and abandoned wildlife and her study of Art, catapulted Deborah into a profound mystical experience at a young age. This experience unfolded her path as an Animal Intuitive and deepened her dedication to service through more volunteer work with her Therapy dog, opening therapy programs in several Intensive Care Units at UCLA. She also began a Photography Class for the children at the Kay Angel Haiti Orphanage. Realizing that the act of surrendering the self to become a vessel was the common ground in her work as an Animal Intuitive and as an artist, has led Deborah to strives to share her underlying resonance of personal Peace and Joy through her fine arts.
